Wellingborough Norse staff walk for charity

May 2014

Four staff from Wellingborough Norse put their best feet forward and took part in a local charity walk.

The four, Field Sales Officer Debra Wood, Car Park Operative Conroy Brown, Ground maintenance Chargehand Keith Howe and Service Support Officer Dean Granger completed the 15 kilometre route of the annual International Waendel Walk to receive commemorative medals for their efforts.

Debra and Dean raised money for Ronald McDonald House Charities and Conroy and Keith walked for the RNIB, raising a total of over £360 between them all.

“The walk was great fun on the day, and I thoroughly enjoyed bring part of Team Norse, as this being the first time I had participated in the Waendel Walk,” Dean Granger commented. “Well done to my team mates as well for completing the 15k Walk and we would like to thank all our colleagues at Wellingborough Norse who sponsored us”.

Steve Dunkley and Lisa Bignell manned a Wellingborough Norse exhibition trailer on the day, providing people with information about the company’s services to local residents and businesses.
